I had PRK and it destroyed my vision and my life. I developed a bunch of complications from it as well as Visual Snow Syndrome. I have about a dozen vision issues from it so my vision is highly distorted and it’s made my life a living hell. I can not say enough bad things about refractive eye suregery. It’s a horrific, dangerous, and unnecessary procedure that no one should ever get. I would give anything in the World to go back to being able to wear glasses or soft contact lenses again and have perfect vision. Keep spreading the truth about what these procedures are really like.

I’m so sorry you are suffering. I had PRK 2 years ago. I was a “good candidate.” I see starbursts and ghosting. But they tell you it “goes away,” and they’ve “never had a patient where it didn’t resolve over time.” All lies.

So sorry to hear hear your accoutt of how LASIK makes healthy eyes sick. Thanks for telling the truth about what these so-called eye doctors do to healthy eyes.

Thanks for sharing your story. The more people speak out, the fewer people will fall for this dangerous scam. If you have time, you could consider posting online reviews of your surgeon. If you include before/after images of your eyecare routine/conditions a lot of people will see them.

Man sorry you have had this issue. But at the end of the day I understand why you upset. But it was your choice. Nobody ever thinks they are going to be the 1% thanks for your time and story I was thinking about it because of my glaucoma but you made me reconsider. And I just have to do some of the tougher things and quitting one of my jobs And better budget my money

Omg I’m so sorry that happened to you. I had lasik like 5 yrs ago but I only had 1 eye done (mono vision). I definitely don’t regret it wish I would have done it sooner as well.
