August and Damian did a beautiful job on my Crepe Myrtle! The oak tree in the backyard only needed some dead branches and stragglers out. They did a fantastic job caring for my flowers and do dads!๐๐๐

Speedy and fluid little bowline technique you got there, I showed some folks your running bowline flip method you showed in an old video, I use it all the time now. Priceless thank you
-
Substantial difference! You can tell that Damian is definitely back ๐ The tree trimming is a very noticeable difference . Many lessons from you, August. Thank you for sharing ๐

Love your poor man grapple We used that quite a bit when I worked at Knott's Berry Farm. We had lots of annual flower beds and orders to raise trees in them, as you show in your video you can get a lot done quickly with no damage. Nice work!

Great job guys. Happy Damien is back. August and Damien best Duo ever ๐๐๐๐

I have been using and teaching that Bowline method for more than 50 years, and even going further to making the bowline one handed.
-
Don't sell that big chipper! You will definitely regret that! ove your videos. Love you August and Damien

Bump caps have been around for at least twenty years. I've always wanted to try one. It's essentially a baseball cap on top of hard hat suspension.
-
I've used that grapple method quite a bit over flower beds and if stuff is just out of reach over a roof. It is a chore, but one guy can do it if you use a polesaw in conjunction.

Probably my favorite thing on this channel is watching you tie knots. It's amazingly fluid. I can't recall which video it was, but you were tying a series of them without even thinking. (wasn't the focus of the content) I swear you just WILLED the rope with your mind.

Everything Reon has was too big for that job !! Your grapple/saw was perfect for that job !! Really good thinking ๐๐

Enjoyed the video. Nice work with your new "grapple".

Pretty slick with that running bowline at the end๐ I always do the slip knot flipped over into a bowline. Cool video brother with that nice stick boom ๐

What a pretty backyard with Damienโs sawing and you catching! Excellent job on the previous crepe myrtle! Your area of the country is so beautiful!โคโคโค

Great technique on the bowline, I will learn that. also wanted to thank you for showing us the amazing carrick bend previously. Finally got a chance/remembered to implement it. Worked a charm

Ok that was a cool trick August. I never thought to try that one. Even in retirement I am still learning the trade.

That is a very nice Crepe Myrtle! It has been well taken care of, it is interesting how easily the branches can meld on those. Good to see Damien back. Btw I love the bowline technique, I'll have to review that, it is very fast. My feeble brain takes things in stages, the first thing I see is an overhand knot, I'll have to process what happens after that when I get a little time to review things, Thanks for posting!
-
That's the fastest bowline I've ever seen tied!!!

Hey August! Very nice pruning work on the Crepe. The grapple saw technique was great, there sure was a lot of delicate stuff under that area!

Enjoyed the ropes tutor! Thanks.
