Billingsgate is where buyers from the best restaurants and fishmongers in London source their fish and seafood. Although it is a professional fish market, it's also open to the general public. The main trading floor boasts 98 stalls and 30 shops where you can find all kinds of fish and shellfish.
Market is only open from about 4 am till about 8:30 am, Tuesdays to Saturdays.

    How much do the sardines and mackerel cost per kg? And do the fish come whole with organs intact or are they all gutted? Do the whole fish have roe / eggs inside them or are they removed? Is conch (shellfish) available?
