Im a driver for pepsi. Truly one of the worst companies in America, some of the lowest pay in the industry and everyone hates eachother that works there. I'm not surprised you were treated like that.
  • I was a route driver for PepsiCo on the frito lay side for 23 years then I retired. That company lacks common sense and they are always messing with their drivers. Best day of my career was the day I retired.

Truck drivers are treated like second class citizens. It'll NEVER change. Been driving 33 years. Around it all my life.
  • @DavidCinelli7815
Sounds like pepsico makes up the rules as they go along.😂😂
  • @rossiunlimited
I went through this same thing this week at Pepsi Fort Myers. 5 hours to unload 2 trucks, and of course Uber refuses to pay detention. I'm done with dry van and moving back to flatbed where drivers get treated with respect.

The security guard had pink hair and held your paperwork down with a bottle of vape juice....

I think your nervous upset laugh is great can always tell when you're not happy
  • Note to self, never pull that load again. Delivered to Pepsi in Tampa, they have a little parking outside of the gate. But they have the same attitude that Orlando has. Same set up also, they’re built for day cab trucks, not road trucks……😢😢

I am so frustrated watching this video, this brings back so many bad deliveries. You are handling this a whole lot more calmly then I would. I know the best thing to do is to remain calm but wow. This reminds me of one of my worst deliveries to Dollar General where I was there for 10 hours, when I was there an hour before my appointment
  • @mrwonk
Seems to me, the solution to all this excessive waiting is to pre-negotiate an extremely high detention price. I'd suggest truckers as a group start to require $250 per hour for detention beyond whatever time would be reasonable to wait and be unloaded.

Woah, never been this early to a post. This looks spicy!

Couple weeks ago I had a Pepsi load that was loaded by another driver picked it up and got to Nashville 200 miles later opened the doors and over three quarters of the load 12 packs were all Tumped over had to hire a temp service 1500 bucks for 5 people trip redo it took 12 hours outta my 25 years I've never seen that bad
  • @christrella3134
Shenanigans. Lot's of Shenanigans at the hands of others. At that point? I'd drop, BT, and go to sleep and hopefully the phone wakes me up. Worry about the backhaul, getting a backhaul after you get up.
  • @ThaMazda
I guess they do that so that your geo mapping doesn’t show that you are there, that’s how they get away with not paying detention.
  • @james6275
Great video brother always "cool heads prevail" from Myrtle Beach have a safe and blessed run.

You had more fun than I did in the Keys. Over a 3 hour delay...trailer overturned on US 1 and spilled his fuel. Had to use the Card Sound bypass but you would have been happy to see how everyone seemed to merge properly in multiple forced detours. "According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 10 a.m. at mile marker 111, on the Miami-Dade County end of the 18 Mile Stretch of U.S. 1 that leads to Key Largo from Florida City on the mainland. Troopers diverted traffic to Card Sound Road, the only other road that connects the mainland to the Keys, according to a sheriff’s office alert. No injuries were reported, and the road was expected to reopen once fuel from the truck was cleaned up."
