Creating the PERFECT Starter Pokémon

Really liked the style of this video and the quick progress in just three iterations.

obsessed with these little guys, especially the potential cirideer has. i can totally envision so many cool designs that they could evolve into. the only thing i might suggest is making their eyes a bit more similar - in doing so i think it would make the designs more cohesive and read a bit clearer as a trio! :) def need a part two to this video!!! please and thank you

These are great! You nailed the renderring style. I do have a couple of small critiques, their mostly about pokemons design philosophy and starter spesific stuff. Walrunt is very adorable but he comes across more as a middle stage evo rather than a first stage, mostly due to the small forehead and eyes. Starter pokemon tend to be given baby like proportions, such as large foreheads, small bodies, and big expressive eyes. Walrunt as he is now is propotioned more like an adult/teenage animal which makes him look more evolved. Additionaly, Cirideer should probubly have larger pupils. Every pokemon is designed to look like they could be your friend, starters even more so. The combination of the patches where the smoke antlers emerge from mimicing down turned eyebrows aswell as the frown and pin prick pupils give Cirideer an almost menaceing apparance. larger pupils will lead to it looking more grumpy and less murdery.

Lemini is my top pick so far with Cirideer as a close second, definitely looking forward to seeing their evolutions!

Would have to say I'm leaning towards Cirideer, it's design interest me as you can go in so many directions. As someone who decided to pick up art and learn more about Pokemon (and I'm far from perfect or even where I want to be) your progression is amazing, being able to pick up on the trends of Pokemon in such a short time is awesome to see. Hope you create the evos so I can check those out too! 🔥
