All pokemon moves, abilities, Items were determined and given from the official information (Up to date since the video release) and obtain through bulbapedia.com, in order to create battle pedia in pokemon, we've to be extremely non bias and therefore all EVs and IVs in this battle were set to 0, we've given them nature with no bonus stats. Also if official sources never release certain trainers use gmax, dynamax, mega evolution, etc... we will also not provide them with those capabilities.

Ash would never lose to Goh, considering he has much, MUCH more experience. So his Pokémon should actually be higher in level. Also, if you're going to let Goh have legendaries, at least let Ash have his Mega Lucario. Also, in the anime, Ash would be more strategic and use combo-moves to beat Goh easily.

So I take it ash’s Pikachu doesn’t have Max plot armour in this scenario and to be fair we have seen ash make some really silly choices in anime you have to wonder if he really even knows type match ups
