Hi there! I wanted to share a personal connection with the Capanna Regina Margherita. My father was actually part of the team involved in its reconstruction back in 1977. The stories and memories of that endeavor still resonate in our old family home. I wish he could be here today to see this video and witness the incredible passion that the current generation has for the hut. It's truly inspiring to see how people cherishes and enjoys this place. It holds a special place in my heart, knowing my father contributed to its restoration. Thank you for sharing this amazing video!
  • 4:41 The night shot of the mountains, clouds, moon and thunderstorm is prob the most beautiful nature shot I have seen on screen.
  • The shot of the moonlight hitting the mountains and the clouds followed by the lightening, absolutely gorgeous! 🙌

My husband and I are senior citizens living in the US and recently found your Youtube channel. We are in awe of the mountains you hike with such craggy and narrow mountain tops. The views are amazing and your photography is wonderful. Thank you for sharing with the world.

The shots of landscape people can see today because of drones is honestly pretty amazing.

Even more incredibile how they built that hut at that elevation.
  • @FatSack0fCrap
The view of the thunderstorms from that high is just absolutely incredible. One of the most breathtaking shots I've ever seen to be honest.
  • Who built that? As a general contractor, I cannot imagine the difficulties in the building that, there. The labor, material delivery, and who paid for it? Damn, what an achievement 😳🔥💯
  • @hugmynutus
This building was built in 1889. It was first constructed in the valley below, dissembled, then carried to its final location by mountaineers. A real accomplishment. That climb looks hard enough, without having to haul bits of a building. I should point out it was totally rebuilt in 1977, but still, impressive.

Everyone should see how amazing the snow on the mountain can look , the calmness in bruno's eyes , the beauty of the cinematography , shoot at 3 am thunderstorm hitting near clouds, This short film surely kept me engaged till it's end . Thank you for showing this to world .

When I saw the footage at the start I was like "omg where are these beautiful places" and suddenly realized many shots were of Switzerland, where I live and always have lived. I even grew up near the Alps, near Berns highlands. But I hardly ever go to the mountains anymore. I work in an international team at ETH Zurich and I see all the foreigners who come here and instantly spend every minute of free time in the mountains. Growing up here, close to the Alps, I've seen the beauty but also the toll these places can take. I have lost friends and family who have died in the mountains during various activites from mountain climbing, to hiking to skiing. None of them were inexperienced or wreckless in their behaviour - all were so-called "rare freak-accidents", but at some point, I had enough and decided to admire this part of my home just via videos, postcards, and - from far away. I hope you all stay safe up there <3

Oh wow, I’ve loved your videos so much but seeing that view with the distant thunderstorms was AMAZING!! I’ve never been that high in the mountains and now being quite old I may never manage it. Thank you for sharing. It made my day to see that. There is no better view than a high mountain view. Thanks for sharing Bruno, it’s your kind of content is that top 1% of YouTube content that really stirs the soul. Thanks

I love these videos. I was lucky enough to stay in a mountain hut in the shadow of the Matterhorn when I was 16. Woke up to see the crystal clear mountains and the glacier below. A life-changing event. These videos bring me back to that moment when I watch. Thank you.
  • Thanks for bringing us along! That was just epic... Especially that thunderstorm. What a privilege to be up there 🙏🙂
  • @AP-nj1mr
Amazing how the high winds don't topple it over the edge!😮
  • @richardblair919
Beautifully done! Appreciate the English language version - too old to climb now but the views are still inspiring. Take care.
