Movies like this have taught me one thing, and that in a post-apocalyptic world, we expected to see a dead civilization with stone-age technology, you know, because of all the destruction. But instead, in the chaos, we actually thrive more than in peace, we actually have the motivation to develop better technology for survival. So, the lesson is: Doom the world, then we can get flying cars.

The underground city is kinda cool, I wouldn't wanna leave that tbh lol. The whole aesthetic of like cyberpunk/scrappunk has always been cool to me.

I think the, "Oh that guy I like survived two massive explosions thousands of feet above the ground and killed a giant monster that saved all of humanity" deserves more than a slightly surprised smile.

Reminds me about a Zerg invasion in Starcraft universe. They too use monsters to attack and massive creatures to travel.
