Torque it down, torque it down, torque it down.
Trying to increase the pace on the video and also trying a new thumbnail design.
Thanks for watching.

"If this engine ever blows up, you'll never hear from me again" This is exactly how i feel about projects like this
-
Honestly impressed that you managed to build it in 8 minutes
-
You did this all yourself and was rather expensive . , this is an honest look of cost to pass on , no bs like some other k24 builds . If you get 7 years out of the engine , break it down and get another 7 .

I'm a Honda O.G and LOVE Hondas/ engines etc. BUT the GRAND total is INSANE! It was built nicely and meticulous. But there weren't any real over the top parts involved for that Grand Total to be so HIGH. SHEESH

This is the perfect video. Straight to the point, detailed, educational, and high quality. I don't even have a Honda anymore or any car I would do an engine for but I still loved this.
-
This engine build was beautiful and extremely honest, also a great learning point for anyone, and the video edit and total was a lot of work too, great job and amazing video editing!
-
I think the lesson here is that if you want "budget", don't crack open the engine (except the basic phaser and oil pump/pan modifications) if you can help it.

Wow I have always wanted to do a fresh build like this but you're making me rethink all that. I spun a rod in my KA24E and and toasted the crank. Sent the block in to get cleaned, decked, bored and honed. Got new oe style oversize pistons, bearings and crank. Rebuilt it with the old parts that were still usable. Total was about $1600 including the machine work.

“If this engine blows up you’ll never hear from me again “😂😂😂
-
That was a very satisfying pace of information, thank you for appealing to my short attention span
-
Man congrats on the build! The price is insane tho when you can get a crate engine for around the same price with only 5% of the time investment. However, the experience you gained is invaluable
-
There's something beautiful about watching an engine being assembled. Especially a K series, one of my favorite engines of all time. CL9 TSX is what I have.
-
Little tip when using plastigauge on the bearings, good practice is to use the old bolts, on some engines the bolts are torqued to yield, meaning they stretch when fully torqued to spec. You'll have to buy new ones when you want to assemble the engine if you use the new ones!

I'm going to save this video. Straight to the point with enough details to follow. Thank you for sharing. Seriously thank you
-
Content this well produced and only 1700 subs. Untapped talent. Nice work 👌

It's so good seeing these done so many years later🙏
-
Bud, this might be the first build video I've seen include checking all the tolerances. Thanks for including that.
-
8:07 - always worth the extra steps. Great, informative video!. It's so good seeing these done so many years later.

This was super informative and shows how much goes into building a motor, especially when it's a swap

Someone pointed out that I forgot to add connecting rods, $450.93. This brings the new total to $12,012.83. Yikes. Edit: Pretty wild this hit 100k views, I did not expect that all. Thank you everyone, hopefully this trend continues.
