  • Hey Nick, Great to meet you! Thanks for putting me in the vid :) Hope you guys enjoyed your visit, Aloha!!
  • Nick so happy you both loved the island! Kauai is known as “The Garden Isle” and Oahu is “The Gathering Place”, these things they teach us from small kid time. Born and raised on Kauai 👋🏾 saw your drone footage of my neighborhood🤙🏾 Here to survive, a lot of locals live in multi-generational family homes. Also, the price you saw for milk in Foodland was the sale price in yellow 😆 Wild chickens were once domestic animals who escaped their backyard dwellings during hurricane Iniki in the early 90’s. We used to have more chickens but the county hires eradicators 😢 they also eradicate cats. I can’t believe you picked up those toads 🤣 I know them as cane toads and they carry toxins as a defense, they can grow very large, larger than the ones you filmed. I have several of those toads in our yard that come out at night that remind me of Jabba the Hutt! This is true what you brought up about the prices of homes here. You practically have to be a millionaire to buy a house here 😢 Local people have been “priced out of paradise” and droves of them have moved across the US continent to be able to afford homes and a more affordable way to live.

That song at the beginning was kinda catchy. Not gonna lie
  • I've never been to Hawaii, but have heard a lot of positive things about Kauai. This looks like an adventure!

Roads here are designed for a primary and a secundary reason. The primary reason is that it must be easy for chickens to cross the road. Cars are secondary
  • So Nick, I live on Maui. Been here from Georgia for 36 years. Anyway, I watch your shows here and there. Today you have me in stitches. I've been to Kauai. Totally wet place. Once I went to the big island and it literally rained 17 days in a row .I mean rain. Anyway I'm certainly enjoying your take on Kauai. And , yes, the chickens.

Lots of people say zuck has his bodyguards kick the locals off “his” beach like he’s a king. Treats them like rubbish. Lots of very unhappy locals.

My fiend has a house on Kauai. It is rural living there. Natural beauty.

I've been there twice. Such a beautiful and chill island. Way better than the other islands.

19:51 I am in tears 🤣😂 I love that you’re encouraging the snail to eat up that pringle LM
  • I lived 35 years in Kauai Island 🏝 now in Patagonia, Chile 🇨🇱 just moved last year in 2023 in September. I know very well, becoming very crowded of the people and not so friendly people, In Patagonia, Chile people really friendly from the heart .Every month, more and more will be people coming from the mainland

Always said the best burger I ever had was at a little roadside spot next to a post office 12 years ago in Anahola Kauai. Imagine my surprise with my favorite influencer is standing right in front of it. Way to go, Nick.

I grew up on kauai and have so many unique stories that can only be explained as “only on Kauai”. Leaving soon due to high cost of living, but at least i have my memories to keep me warm.
