Barbagallo Raceway Perth Now Unsafe for Motorcycles

Sorry to hear about your son. Yes it is extremely painful and people just cannot understand unless they have lost someone! Dominic was racing for one year. We both grew up racing motocross from the 1980's. He transferred that experience to the road and was very talented! In that one year he went from D to C and was asked to move up to 'B grade' which he declined as he was starting to win some money! He was quite a small build and very light. He even wrote up a document, the morning of the day he passed, listing all the corners at the track and what markers to look for... when someone else was in front or behind etc etc. I am so sorry about your son!

So sorry for your loss. I am in Perth since 3 years now and i would like to ride on Raceway. There is only ONE Race around Perth.

another fatality at Wanneroo after hitting a tyre wall, it is not good enough. It used to be a safe track, now racing in reverse is too dangerous and barriers are too close to the track. Cars and bikes don't mix.
