More than anything else on the internet, this set captures what it was like to be there at the birth of Dubstep - deep, dark, minimal, low lights and all about the beats... and the BASS!!!

  • Nearly 6 years later, this is one of the most important Dubstep set recordings, and not just because it's one of the very rare times Mala had his set uploaded.
  • @Figureight
I've lost count the amount of times I've listened to this set now.

dat fucking vinyl crackle on Kalawanji and AWD especially is just so proper, those plates have had long and good lives
  • @barenuffsafe
Gwarn Mala. Absolute badman. Pure vinyl, mixing tighter than a nun, and still vibing behind the decks. Hard to top this for a boiler room
  • @bflp
Turned the lights out of my bedroom, a disco ball on the ceiling, this shit in fullscreen, and spent the all time standing up dancing like if i was in there. FUCK YEAH!! I bow to Mala, one of my favorite artists
  • @kvedia15
wish things get better soon and we can have mad dances like these!
  • @jordseffect8167
I remember listening to Mala at 3am on NYE at Northern Bass festival here in NZ. Easily one of my favourite sets i've ever seen, the vibe was out of the world. Bass was absolutely crushing and everyone was just vibing in the zone. Mala smoked easily an 8 inch joint to himself behind the decks and didn't skip a beat. Memories!

This is mindblowing man... Mixing to this level of precision and accuracy on ACTUAL vinyl is one of the absolute most difficult things. Not to mention he's vibing behind the decks the whole time like it's nothing. Truly amazing.

2023 and still listening to one of the most legendary sets of all time. What a skill, What a BASS! Malaa madd! Bad tunes!

140s never died you silly sausages He really took us back to the golden age on this one
  • @zenaglander8598
Nomine as the fucking intro :) its just absolute fire from the get go, the set up fully suits this whole set, the darkness, the red lights, how Mala is a shadow.....the best!
  • @redkem80
The legendary Mala - love the fact he still plays vinyl, absolute don!
  • @sydney1983
I'm not even massively into Dubstep but this is definatly one of the best boiler room sets that has been done! So refreshing to hear someone mix real vinyl gems properly, see and hear a crowd getting down andloving every second!
