Dan Orlovksy not agreeing with the pick is honestly the best assurance the Giants could get that they made the right choice 😂

Don't draft a QB when the team is not ready to support their development. Teams ruin QBs by putting them in situations to fail time and time again..
  • As a Giants fan were thankful we didn't draft him. We got a million holes to fill before destroying another QB. Daniel Jones never had a chance no matter what. Jones isn't good but we failed him.

As a Giants fan i love the Nabers pick. Who would JJ throw to? We can get a Qb next yr or later in the draft

Dan orlovsky not agreeing with a pick is generally a reassurance for any picking team.

Dan Orlovsky thought Desmond Ridder was going to become a good QB Dann Orlovsky thought Zach Wilson was going to be have a monster 2nd year as a PRO like Patrick Mahomes end of story.

I think JJ landed in the best position, I don't trust the Bears but we'll see
  • @seanhannagan231
Dominique perfectly articulated the giants view. This team cannot nurture a young qb as is. Need to continue to build a strong foundation for a young qb.
  • @louinsmith6852
Dominique's take on the JJ-giants segment is one of the best football takes ESPN had recently

I really never saw the hype with McCarthy. I think it would’ve been a big risk taking him at 6. Plus Vikings has better structure giants are a mess smh. I completely agree with foxy
  • Love Kwesi's moves with the Vikings. Start Darnold and see how it goes without sending McCarthy out there unprepared. Adding a top pass rusher was a need. Retained all their future high picks. Well done. The new generation of GMs all seem competent.

Giants made the right decision lol, they have had trash out wide and is a big reason why no qb would do well in NY right now. Nabers is a great start.
  • @joerusso4417
these pundits act like all these qbs will make it. they won't. you don't take flyers. the giants have already failed at that.
  • @champagnekhas
Either way we aren’t prepared for a QB the Vikings are
  • Giants have been desperate for a big time WR since OBJ. Now they got it. They can be a bit patient with the QB search or maybe Jones finally gets the playmaker he always needed
  • @user-rn9co7jc4t
The Giants did JJ McCarthy a favour by not drafting him JJ in New York knowing how that fan base is in a division with the Cowboys and Philly
  • @StoneyHoliday
Perk is absolutely wrong. They got burned with Daniel Jones for taking a QB as a need and reaching. They would have reached for McCarthy and quite honestly the Vikings did too.
  • @beefoneeto
Daboll called Orlovsky out a couple of years ago when he showed clips of Toney and a few others supposedly open that Jones "missed" and DaBoll said they were open because they ran the wrong pattern and an ex-QB should know that a play gets called and a QB has a progression to go thru .A guy running a wrong route gets ignored .Plus he said on those plays Jones went to the right guy.

The Bills are looking for another Puka Nacua in the later rounds.
  • @chadwickerman
They have to pay Jones for the foreseeable future because of their GM's signing him to that contract. Might as well build out the rest of the team until they can move on from him.
