  • In 2024 when the world is going increasingly insane songs like this are a refuge of joy and sanity.

Ahhhh, another stinky and cold morning in New Jersey. My dad was in a union and was a welder in Union, NJ. He was one tough bastard, a war battle survivor. He would buy me any record I wanted and never questioned the content. Looking back, I believe he was watching me enjoy my complete 1970s freedom for which he believed he fought. Thanks, Dad.❤

What a song. What a band. What a woman. What a drummer!
  • @ChildOfThe1970s
Sometimes a band's less popular songs are their best. This is one example.

Very underrated song. One of the very best Blondie songs. Subtle, understated, beautiful melody.

There is no other like her. Never will be.

My favourite Blondie track. A big sound and a celebration of a big, East Coast working-class culture. Magnificent.
  • There isn't a another song ever that sounds anything quite like this. Blondie were one of the coolest bands there will ever be 😎💚
  • I simply cannot get over Clem Burke's drumming prowess. Brilliantly talented though everyone else undoubtedly is, it's this guy's sticks skills that made Blondie the game-changers they were. He and Stewart Copeland of the Police are my heroes from that age. They set the bar so goddamm high. 👌

Debbie Harry 1 charisma 2 talent 3 Gorgeous looks 4 Great singer Some of the stars today don’t have one
  • One of the rare videos with Debbie playing an instrument. They are easily one of the top ten American bands all time.

Debbie doesn't get enough credit for her songwriting much. Her lyrics are so abstract and interesting!

There's something about this song that transports me back to 1980. It just seems to sum up that time. I love it.

Debbie Harry was the real deal as the front woman for Blondie. She wrote, played guitar, co-produced and put her all in her performances. What is most impressive is the complete self-confidence she exudes without being coy, arrogant, or sexually manipulative. Simply by putting her intelligence, sensuality and musicality in front of her audience, she has been a pioneering force of women's empowerment in popular music for 40 years.

She had the world at her feet...as petite as she was! And still rocks at 76!!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
  • @TheAmy3338
She didn't even have to try, jumpsuit buttoned up to the neck, nothing hanging out and still one of the sexiest women to ever grace the music world......
