Whenever I hear this song I cannot help but to think of the 1990 movie “House Party” with Kid N Play. I just love the 80’s. Luther Vandross with that smooth and velvety voice. This classic will live on forever.

PURE MAGIC!!!! 1982 B.C (Before Crack) the black communities were strong close-knit vibrant full of love and mutual respect. Luther and his music accentuated the entire vibe. House parties cookouts and family get togethers were the norm and highlight to nearly every weekend. The adults partied and enjoyed one another's company,most times too much lol and kids could carelessly play outside after dark.. Beautiful times they were! And then Ronald Reagan intentionally dumped tons of cocaine into our neighborhoods and it all ended...
