Chuck E Cheese has an interesting business model. The prizes and jackpot values are weak, but they really maximize the amount of time you can spend there for the money. Kids will probably be happy with the prizes anyway and that's really the target audience. Parents will probably be happy because their kids can't blow through $50 in 20, 30 minutes like Dave and Busters or similar, and walk out with a $6 prize. They're selling you time keeping your kids entertained rather than value back in prizes.
