The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. It is the 19th main installment in the The Legend of Zelda series. The story is set in Hyrule and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, who awakens from a 100-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon.

The title's gameplay and mechanics constitute a departure from the series' conventions, featuring an open-world environment, a detailed physics engine, high-definition visuals, voice acting, and the ability to play through the game's dungeons in any order. Announced in 2013, the game was initially planned for release as a Wii U exclusive in 2015, but was delayed twice prior to its release on 3 March 2017. Breath of the Wild was a launch title for the Switch and was the final Nintendo-produced game for the Wii U.

Upon release, Breath of the Wild received widespread critical acclaim, with critics particularly praising the game's physics-driven open world and gameplay that encourages player experimentation. The title is one of the highest-rated games of all time on review aggregator Metacritic, and has been deemed by several critics to be one of the greatest video games ever made. sheikah breath of the wild master sword prince sidon how to get breath of the wild dlc

  • After getting it fully powered, I used it for what it was meant to be used for...cutting grass.
  • a sword that's going with blue constantly there's only one thing I can think of... Orcs are near

Here's why you didn't calculate 200; 1. When you jump attack and miss, the hit against the ground counts as a hit and lowers durability. 2. Rocks and Trees do double damage to your weapons unless they are a hammer or axe respectively. This is just a comment after me looking into it, not really showing you up just gently showing you what's up. Nice vid, cya

PSA: If you return to the Trial of the Sword before the Master Sword breaks and teleport out, the game places a new Master Sword in your inventory, basically reparing it.
  • 1:00 “It looks like Fi is ready to pop out of it at any moment” yeah, and tell you that your wii remote is dying.
  • @mangametro
sentence of the year "you don't suppose to use it for"
  • @adenpirkle9698
Did anyone notice that the lynels great flameblade never had to re-heat

I was fighting a hinox, then a yiga clan acher died by the hinox.

This makes the Master Sword a very nice weapon to use if you're out of Royal or Savage Lynel weapons. It still only works as a back-up late-game, but unless you can beat Trial of the Sword early-game by rushing to get the Master Sword, it's not broken. In fact, I'd say if you're good enough to do that, it's more than a fitting reward.
  • I remembered dying on floor 23 on the final trials. I wasn’t even mad, just disappointed in myself.
  • @sh4un591
I think the trials of the sword is a great way to test your skills, making you not dependent on things like mipha's Grace and daruk's protection for fights and realise that the runes can be good for fighting as well. #z21
  • The first time I saw a hinox I thought it was snorlax 😂 😂 😂
  • @fracturedyt7377
Me: *Clips through walls to cheat past the trials Sword monk: Your heroism is beyond question Me: Mhm it sure is whatever you say buddy Also, the powered master sword DID take damage. it lasted hecking forever, but it did break
  • The Master Sword, also known as the Blade of Evil's Bane, the Legendary Sword, the Master Sword of Resurrection and the Sword that Seals the Darkness, is a recurring legendary Sword in the The Legend of Zelda series. Originally crafted by the goddess Hylia as the Goddess Sword, it was later forged into the Master Sword by the Goddess's chosen hero and its spirit, Fi, who bathed it in the three Sacred Flames located across the land that would become the Kingdom of Hyrule. Din's Flame in particular imbued the sword with the Power to Repel Evil, a power augmented after the Sword received the blessing of Zelda, which transformed the blade into the True Master Sword. It is usually the only Sword that can defeat Ganon in the games it appears in.
  • @RJTheHero8
I recently beat the Trial of the Sword on Master Mode. Floor 10 on Beginner has 2 Silver Lizalfos that can wreck your shit if you're not careful.
  • @KuwaywayLogic
There's a guy that swings a torch acting like he is the hero of hyrule in one of the stables before he would reject the fact that you had the master sword even if you had it out so if you have it at its full potential would accept you as the hero and the fact that you have the legendary sword?
  • @BasilLeaf_
Watching this at this day and age because I purchased the game a week ago. Thank you
  • Watching this again a year later makes me want to pick this back up again, such a beautifully fun game ☺️
