These media people are a bunch of frauds, lol. Hurts wasn't asked what Sirianni's role is with the team. That's just outright false. Hurts was asked a dumb, vague question: "What have you noticed about Nick being open-minded to change up the offense like he has, what does that say about him?" That's it. Hurts didn't know how to answer the question because it's a bad question and he's never been a guy to sit in a press conference and pontificate about some abstract concept and "what is says about" someone else. The question also assumes Sirianni hasn't been open to change in the past and that he had some big change in personality. Sirianni gave up playcalling duties in his first season when things weren't working. He changed DCs last year when the D went into the tank. One move worked, the other didn't, but Sirianni's always been open-minded to change. The Philly sports media is just awful though when it comes to distorting what people say or trying to pass of their own "interpretation" of what someone said to generate clickbait.
