IS THIS REAL? | UNITED AIRLINES TO SEATTLE | IAD-SEA | ECONOMY CLASS | B737 | PART 2

Published 2016-08-05
Yo whats up?
This is the second part of my trip to Seattle. We were delayed for about 5.5 hours due to heavy thunderstorms in Washington Dulles(thus the title: my long way to seattle)
I have never personally experienced anything like that, it looks impressive on the footage but it was way more frightening in real! I was so happy that we didn't try to fly out of Dulles with such bad weather approaching! Luckily we could fly the same day so nothing changed in our travel plans. United really did a great job there and I'm very thankful for that! Also how they managed to arrange everything to get us to Seattle after midnight was really impressive! Well done United!
If you have any questions, feedback or just want to tell me a funny joke don't hesitate to write a comment below!
As usual more reviews coming next week! Until then!

If that was American Airlines, your flight would have been delayed even if there wasn't a storm.
  • Super video, ''Legroom at the airport was really great'' so funny

Great video! Really enjoyed it :) This experience was way better than the last time I flew United domestic , took a 757 that trip was hell.

Great video and narration Loris! Bad weather and turbulence might be fun but the pilots and ATC will never put the passenger's safety at risk. I love the Boeing Sky Interior, it is just so soothing.

"Don't mess with Texas." Is no joke. There storms are dangerous and taking off in them is very scary. American Airlines took off in a storm similar to this. I couldn't believe them. United really prides itself with Safety and I'm glad that they delayed this flight. United is a very nice airline. I would rather be delayed, deplaned, and retried later on then take off in a Texas storm ever again.

I had something similar when approaching Rio de Janeiro from ZRH with Edelweiss. The plane was diverted to Belo Horizonte (400 km from GIG) and we had to spend the night there.

nice video mate, you had me smiling a few times :-) weather delays are no fun. my latest flight out of JFK we were parked for close to 4 hours on the tarmac, almost made me miss my connection.

This really reminds me of a experience on one of my flights! I was on a Swiss A330 from ZRH-ORD. We got on the plane, and while we still were at the gate, the pilot said that there was a fuel leakage. We waited on the plane, where they served us food, for 2 hours. Then, we had to get off the plane and wait at the airport for 6 hours! They gave us food coupons, but they didn't help much because only Starbucks was open at the Time. Terminal E was basically closed because all the intercontinental flights left already. Then, the got us on a new a330 and we took off with 8 hours delay.

Great video, amandeuce! It seemed like a horrible time on that plane. Delays are bad enough as it is; it's way worse when you are actually on the plane. Crazy!

it's hard not to like your videos! they are always very informative and detailed. Ando of course, s**t happens and the worst is that sometimes passengers seems not to understand such external issues. Keep on with the good work!
