Iceman probably has the coolest nickname no pun intended

I went to the same high school he did in Indianapolis, i use to marvel at his trophies and jerseys before i walked in the gym to play basketball,
  • As a skinny 8th grade boy in 1965 I got Oscar Robertson's autograph in Spokane as he was getting ready to play the LA Lakers in a pre-season game. Oscar was so gracious and his signature was beautiful, not some scribbled lines. On that slip of paper I also had signatures from Jerry West, Jerry Lucas, Gail Goodrich, Walt Hazzard, Rudy LaRusso, John Block, Hank Finkle, Jim Barnes, Darrel Imhoff, and 2 or 3 others. I kept that in my wallet and unfortunately went swimming in the Little Spokane River and forgot to take out my wallet. The autographs were ruined!! My bad. The players were all so nice and accommodating. Much different than today's players.

These guys would make a scary lineup PG: Oscar SG: Ice SF: Bernard King PF: Dr. J C: KG

All these players today owe him a debt of gratitude . Greatest PG all time .Oscar is discussing the business aspect of the game. He is also discussing short money and long money. This is something that needs to be heard in a day when we have to many get rich quick scemes . Oscar and Curt Flood are why the NBA and MLB have guaranteed contracts. The NFL doesn't .

They really paved to way to getting paid ! Shoutout out to Bill, Wilt, and all the other players that had to be great and endured during so much hate in America.

Oscar was a POINT GUARD that plays a power Guard /forward style of skillset.. a real complete PACKAGE that we won't ever gonna see for a player

Good to see this group on the show. I don't think Oscar is given enough credit for his greatness and what he has done for the game.

  • @renechang2406
Lots of legends. That iconic Dr J shot will go down as one of the best and innovative of all time. Like he was floating in the air lol. So unexpected and unorthodox but hyper cool simultaneously. Like a magic trick lol.
  • @keith863
Personally, I think Kevin should speak less, but other than that, this is one of the most impressive assemblies of spectacular NBA players I've ever seen - Doc, the Big O, Ice & Bernard, wow!
  • @calebc5057
Oscar Robertson nearly averaged triple doubles before it was cool
  • @DreJr
