The Esoteric Secrets of Plato’s Cave & the Truth Beyond the Simulation

Published 2024-06-27
Plato's Allegory of the Cave is a powerful tale. Not only is it one of the oldest versions of what, today, we'd call the "matrix" or "simulation" scenario, it's the most practical, prescient, and esoteric. In fact, Plato's cave and the Republic at-large contain occulted layers of meaning that scholars are still discovering and debating about to this day.
In this transmission, we'll summarize the tale and do a deep dive into its more esoteric, often missed layers of wisdom.

When I was young they said of me, "you think too much" and "you're so naive" and since finding THIRD EYE DROPS it feels like coming home to these thoughts and studies and we are living in times I can only hope to prove my life was a true witness to the mantra I used to say under breath " Some people think I think too much, sometimes I think they Think Not. May grace heal us all into wholeness. It's all I ever hoped to wrought."

  • I have forgotten the original author of this quote, but it holds so much value for me: " We all know the same truths but our lives depict how we choose to distort them". Excellent video, I'm glad you popped up in my feed.

I remember my dad looking in the mirror and saying, that's not me, life is like a dream. We change every minute, every day, every year. How right he is and was.

I wish I'd had this video to refer to in college when I was introduced to Plato's Cave. Being a "knowesis" is very much like being a novice. And when you are new to knowing it knocks you off your feet just as described. You want to go back. You want to not know , but you want others to know, both at the same time. You can't not know though! You will see it in everything. You will see everything.

Watching this on youtube feels a bit like the man who escaped the cave and saw truth came back into the cave and is making shadows trying explain that I'm stuck in a cave. Great video 🔥

Beautifully expressed insights my friend! It has always struck me how the freed man is overwhelmed once he is confronted with the truth, and wants to run back to his familiar life knowing it is an illusion. Also, there is that interesting dynamic when one feels the responsibility to help others once one has learned a truth, while knowing that they will not accept it outright. You expressed this so well!

It's a shame your videos don't get more views. I find them incredibly well made, very well constructed, and very informative. Love your channel! Edit: HOLY COW!! SO.MANY.VIEWS!! Very happy to be eating my words, holy moly!!!

I have asked myself many times what the meaning of life is. For many years now the answer has been “goodness”, to be good. I project myself to my deathbed when my life will flash before my eyes, what mattered? That I lived my life truthfully and was good, is all that mattered. Everything flows from those two choices. And it is a choice at first, then increasingly, it is just you. To do what is right, even if it’s hard, even if it costs you.

I have noticed the more I open my heart to love the more truth wisdom and understanding has come. Amazing to hear this in different words from a different age. Gnosis ❤️

Since I’ve been a kid I had the feeling that everything is magical and not very solid. Growing up I forgot those moments of wonder.

The cave is my living room and the shadows are my tv.
  • 10 minutes in and I just want to express my gratitude to you. Thank you for being brave enough to follow your passion and sharing it with us. You do a fantastic job of being informative while injecting just enough humor and levity into what can be a heavy/jarring topic. I'm learning while having fun. What a combo. I wish you nothing but continued success and growth.
  • Exquisite video. No fat, not too much sugar, well edited and brilliant well thought out. Content coming from someone who clearly cares for their audience. Your honesty comes through clearly. Thank you for the mountain of material you waded through to bring this work, most could not imagine how much heavy reading and time you put in to get this much into one video. Thank you

  • I was riding my bike to work while listening to this. I became very aware of how all of the cars around me, the people driving them, the obstacles in my way are all manifestations of my mind or soul, outer projections of my inner self. Things that kept trying to distract me from truly listening to this video and maybe raising my psyche.
  • You know what happens if you "escape the simulation"??? You immediately remember that you intentionally came here to experience the very suffering you wish to escape. This isn't a prison.... it's a school. What you're describing, would be better described as "dropping out" rather than "escaping." Part of the deal with this advanced course, is intentional amnesia. You come here, to test the strength of what you might call a "soul," without access to the knowledge you've accumulated, throughout your many "lives" (more accurately, courses), but ONLY the strength of being that you've built up, through prior courses. The stronger you've built yourself up, the quicker you regain your footing and direction. This is like the Bar-Exam for divine fragments.... many take the exam, and many fail, and have to take it again. Your being retains a sense of having been here before, and for them it can begin to feel like a prison. However, the purpose here, is not to avoid as much suffering as possible... rather it's to suffer as much as possible, for this is what is necessary to grow that divine fragment. The same goes for helping others... don't help them avoid their suffering, but help them stay strong through it. It might FEEL good, in the moment, to help someone avoid their suffering, but you are, in reality, doing them a disservice.

  • I like Ramana Maharashi when he said : All u see is the mind= Maya. So ...u can exit ur mind by learn 2 quiet...inquire and observe the mind and not buy into nonsens....though I must say...a Awakening is needed...otherwise u not see...that u dream❤ All the best 2 u guys❤ Also the heart is more knowledgeable as any data stream.

The cave story is basically the story of my life the last 10 years…. Trying to get others to see that either can’t see, or don’t want to see. I have converted a few souls to “waking up”, but I’d say 70% at the very least still think I’m insane. It’s so wild to think about.
