When Alan said, "How can you love someone who stabbed you so much in the back" when referring to HIS father my jaw dropped. He is doing the EXACT same thing to his son. I'm sure there's something in there about repeating your father's mistakes.

Gooood i hate how chef David was framed this episode. He cracked under the pressure and snapped, but its VERY apparent how justified he was, just like how Daniel was justified for being a wreck after dealing with the same narcissists all his life. It feels like they want you to feel bad for the parents because "chef david goes after ANOTHER member of the family" like jesus.
