I love this track, it is immensely powerful and encourages exactly the right mood for the battles in which it is used, just like all of Okabe's work.
I wanted a longer version of the track with some of the separate elements reshuffled and an intimidating organ lead-in. There's also a touch of the chorus from 'Mourning' mixed in as a bridge.
FYI, it gets loud after the intro.

I feel like the organ is a serverly underused instrument in modern music. It is a wonder to listen to no matter where it is and immediately steals the show in the best way

This track well sums up Nier Automata. Beginning of Nier Automata: "Haha, I'm having a fun time fighting the machine lifeforms." Ending of Nier Automata: "What is my purpose in life..."

I feel so bad for the Dark Colossus. It was being attacked just for existing. Yes, it was a danger to both Androids and machines, but it didn't know. It only fought back because it wanted to live.

Man I just love music that actually takes advantage of the lower octaves for their base sounds. The left side of the piano needs more love.
