  • This is one of those movies that I think deserve a prequel tv show. I’d love to see when they got all adopted and everything they went through as teens.

As an older sibling, hearing Jack screaming for his big brother Bobby to help him while he was dying is a different kind of hurt

Underrated John Singleton movie. I believe John wanted this to have a blaxploitation feel to it. R.I.P. a legend.

As someone who grew up in a house full of brothers I gotta say they really nailed the relationship down between the four. Constantly roasting eachother but always having eachother’s backs. We always used to mess with our youngest brother just like how they did with Jack but the second we found out some kids in his class were bullying him, we all got on our bikes and jumped their asses one day after school 😅 Guess that’s why I cried so much when Jack died because I saw so much of my little brother in him. Definitely one of my top favorite movies and so glad you had the chance to enjoy it!
  • Saddest part outside of the mom and brother that died scene was them sitting at that table and all having the vision of their mom. This was a good movie and anyone that dealt with loss on any level the movie will hit home in more ways than one.

Regarding the younger brother Jack, I've always assumed that maybe he was sexually abused by a man when he was a child. Due to the ghost Evelyn stating that "bad things" happen to him & because of the gay jokes the other brothers made about him
  • The actors all did a great job portraying siblings in this movie. I have two older brothers and an older sister. We are all adults now with our own families but we all start acting like children again when we get around each other.

Because of this movie whenever someone impresses me or does what they need to do I be like “gahtdammit I like the way you do business” 😂

I absolutely love this movie. Fav part is that kid in the hallway. Mark says "these are my brothers" The kid looks confused and says "nah he's my real brother". Anyway I'm excited for this one.

"I got the rock now... I got this mf now!" 😂😂😂
  • This movie is underrated as hell. I felt bad for Jack. He definitely had it messed up before he got taken in by his adopted mom. Jack even talks about it in the deleted scenes at their moms burial. Their was even reference that he was sexually abused as a kid. Even tho they weren't blood related, they definitely were like blood brothers the way they were towards each other.

This movie hits hard with my own family, especially the fact i was basically the Jack in our family, my 3 older "Brothers" all had the same exaggerated personalities Bobby, Jeremiah, and Angel have. Yet whithin the past year I lost my "Bobby" and "Angel"... And our "Jeremiah" is a bum who doesn't even talk to his 5 kids. So now every anniversary of my "Brothers" death, i watch this and imagine a different life for us❤.
