It’s kind of amazing to see how “carried away” by the discussion Daniel got when he hits his straight. It literally lookedlike he didn’t care one bit about the hand he was in and was throwing money in the pot mindlessly. I think most people would have fallen for that little deception.

The multi-camera replays of Phil eating half a BLT in one bite is absolutely hysterical.

In general, my favorite thing about a Hellmuth rant is when he starts making up fantasy scenarios. "I'll limp with AK and then you'll shove with 10J, and I'll bust you, just wait." Like, just completely makes up a hypothetical to make himself feel good. 😅

Daniel made a great point - Ivey doesn't care who people think is the best. Hellmuth does - only HE does. Like the old adage says, "If you go around saying you're the best, you probably aren't."

Hellmuth was so hurt inside when D negs starting speaking facts

The crazy thing is Hellmuth is really that delusional to believe he is better than Phil Ivey at Hold ‘Em. Negreanu, being absolutely correct, just completely destroyed the wall of illusion this man has built within his own psyche to protect his ego. Harsh words but also absolutely true and an inflated personality like Hellmuth deserves that bit of humble pie every now and again. Truth was told - Ivey is absolutely better than Hellmuth in any form of poker - but also that Ivey is happy to placate Hellmuth’s ego in order to keep him thinking he has an edge when he absolutely does not. It’s always and only about the money with Phil Ivey.

PH is better than Ivey at buying in for the absolute minimum and hanging around all stream

this literally proves in every way that Daniel would have been better for the Hustler stream

The charisma of Daniel here is just phenomenal. His tone, his action on the hands, in charge of the conversation etc. etc. is just so mind blowing to me. I love his ability to explain his point

Phil Ivey is probably the greatest poker player of all-time. At his peak, circa 2008, nobody wanted him at their table. He was a killer in pretty much every format of the game: cash, tourneys, heads-up, mixed games, online, PLO, etc....You name it, he was good at it. He's obviously not the player he once was but for a period he was the most feared man in poker. Hellmuth, despite having an unorthodox style and being a bit of a goof, is a great multi table tournament player. His record speaks for itself. He's fantastic at exploiting amateur/weaker players and he's also been able to adapt his game throughout the years in order to continue to be successful. However, as an all round poker player, he's not in the same league as Ivey.

I just want to make this moment more accessible @11:45 . Daniel is legit so funny.
