My yard is in the same direction as yours. No direct sunlight in my backyard in winter. A few roses have been doing well in this condition, Tamora, Jeanne Rex and Crazy Love ( La Villa Cotta) for examples.

Jude the obscure need three years to settle and grow big n strong. You might consider Teasing Georgia, mine grew like a tree next to my fence and produced hundreds of flowers every year after it’s been in the ground for three years. I have it for over 12 years. Very beautiful flowers
