The NHL Playoffs are out of control #5

The NHL Playoffs brought another week of mayhem! We got Brad Marchand admitting to players trying to hurt each other, Paul Bissonnette questioning an official being on DraftKings, we got bone crushing hits from guys like Trouba and Zadorov, a kid crying in Carolina, Zadorov mock crying to Evander Kane, Paul Maurice angry on the bench, Jim Montgomery mocking diving players in what some are calling an embellishment epidemic. A fan was caught picking his nose, another was seen at the Oilers watch party with a VR headset and we had crazy close calls with Silovs and Martinook. We also got Evan Bouchard mocking Conor Garland for his height, we got Alberta beef on the ice and, with another 3 teams eliminated in the Hurricanes, Bruins and Avalanche we are now about halfway to the STANLEY CUP being lifted! Of course, a big theme that continued was questionable officiating that continues to drive fans, players and coaches crazy! I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video!

Respect to Pasta for apologizing to the ref after yelling at him. And to Biz for the Draft Kings comment. I'm sure he heard about that one after the broadcast.

I love this series. Honestly, your commentary and highlights are going to be one of the things I'll miss most when the playoffs are over (other than hockey itself, of course)

Official NHL Charging Rule (Rule 607) “Charging is the action where a player takes more than two strides or travels an excessive distance to accelerate through a body check for the purpose of punishing the opponent. This includes skating or leaving one’s feet (jumping) into the opponent to deliver a check, accelerating through a check for the purpose of punishing the opponent, or skating a great distance for the purpose of delivering a check with excessive force.” Left the ice before contact. Definition charging penalty.

Dude your recaps are awesome! Only started watching hockey last year and these vids keep me coming back. Btw nice shot of the dude picking his nose 🤣
  • Thank you for highlighting the humor and comedy so well. Also for not having circus like background music.
  • @Nediler
RIP Dutch! Watched him for years, he was only 57 years old.
  • Imagine if what happened to Tanev happened to a player in any other sport? They’d be carted off and placed on IR for months. In hockey it’s a minor inconvenience as you get patched up and back on the ice.
