WOW. As a first-time expecting mom who didn't grow up in a Christ-centered family (and neither did my husband) but who has always DREAMED of raising a God-honoring family and building a generational legacy of faith, videos like this bless us more than you know. The transparency, honesty, respectful communication between parents + kids... plus your intentional practices of loving them and helping them know they are loved, rooted in their worth, identity, and God's truth... all of this is so priceless. And reading the free resource y'all provided (thank you for creating and sharing that!!) moves my heart - to hear that these beautiful letters have now become some of your kids' most prized treasures. Thank you Bevere family for giving so many of us inspiration + VISION for what is possible!!! 💗

  • "You are mine; you are loved; and I'm proud of you." Wow. .. Those are things I strives for so hard to hear from my dad. .. He actually bragged a lot about the "you are mine" part. Not in those words, but we are a large family, and Dad was proud of having 8 kids, and our parents goal was to raise us to be PRODUCTIVE CITIZENS. .. It did seem merit-based, and Dad was not able to say the words "I love you." .. My dad started going to a different church a few years back, and the pastor taught on love languages and also about what children need from their parents. .. He grew up without knowing that he was loved or that his parents were proud of him. There was a lot of dysfunction, with a family heritage of alcoholic personality. .. It felt so nice for me to finally hear my dad say, "Even though you are not an accountant like your sister or (yada yada) or live in a nice house, you provide a valuable service to society." (I do home health.) .. Yes, it's still performance-based. But he's still alive... and GOD loves me no matter WHAT! .. Thank you for this message, because I need to always make sure I TELL my kids that I love them and I'm proud of them. And the "you are mine" is something I tell my husband. 😄 (just recently)

Is anyone else crying!! 😭 like I’m crying for that mama because she’s trying to hold it together but I know as a mom she’s jumping for Jesus and weeping gratefully on the inside ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ God Bless this family
  • Oh these words are so good❤ i am a young mom of two boys and sometimes i would wish my husband will lead our family closer to God, and that our kids will know the words of God. Please pray for my family that God will touch my husband’s heart and mine to learn his way and to do the right thing for our boys. God bless everyone😇
  • My little girl is going to turn 10 in October. I'm so glad that I am watching this. What a beautiful tip. Thank you all for sharing.

Wow. Your kids are so beautiful and gentle. Your son, in particular, is so wise for his age. What a credit they are to you.
  • I'm Greek and my mother has never been kind or warm towards me in a loving mother kind of way. I have three children with special needs and I can tell two of my children more easily that I love them and that I'm proud of them. My second is harder because of the damage my mum did but i have managed to tell her that I do love her. I never grew up in a family like that and i kind of envy anyone who did.

As a mom to five kiddos, I love how much you interact with your kids and allow them to share their thoughts, even if they might be rooted more in feelings at this point in time. As believers, we can only continue to point our children to Jesus and the truth of Scripture and trust the Holy Spirit's work in their lives. Thank you for God-honoring content.
  • Sitting in the awe of God again… as my daughters about to turn ten in a couple of days and I’ve been praying to the Lord on how I can be a better mother and what I should do and how to do it. Thank you for making this video and other videos 🤍🕊️🤍

I have gotten so much better but I want to go for all God has for me and my family... Bless u guys...im bawling right now...help me to be vulnerable lord.
  • Yall hold yall excitement well because I am over shouting with excitement and awe at how the kids are able and free to express themselves. This is amazing to see a glimpse of the intentionality of the work as parents that yall are putting into your children.

I know you are very proud of your kids. Seeing how they speak explaining their side of things and the way watch them, i can see how proud you are of them.

This episode really touched me. I’m in awe of how you guys treat each other with respect, understanding, and kindness. Your kids are clearly loved, they are blessed to have you two as their parents! This is a very important topic today. I believe that most Christians don’t know their identity in Christ and devil is attacking our identity from every angle, that’s why there’s so much confusion and identity crisis. We as parents need to love our kids everyday, tell them that we love them, tell them that they are ours and that we’re proud of them. Our love should be unconditional, just like our Father’s love is for us. Thank you for uploading this profound conversation! ❤ God bless you all!

The children.... their maturity, eloquence, peace, understanding of their emotions in difficult moments.... Unbelievable...
  • @cindyhaugen6168
What a wonderfully Godly family. Your kids are such an inspiration. They are far more spiritually mature and honest than most Christian adults. They are truly great examples of children who are loved, proud of, and belonged to. You as parents have done a beautiful job of raising them up to be like Christ. You showed great respect by letting them say what they felt like saying and you patiently listened. it showed how proud you are of them and how much they are loved and cherished. Thank you for being an example of Christ's love. May all Christian families live out these truths, through Jesus Christ.
