Batman: Arkham is a series of action video games based on the extremely popular DC Comics character Batman. developed by Rocksteady Studios and WB Montreal, and published originally by Eidos and currently by Warner Bros. The franchise consists of four main installments and an upcoming Spin off, along with four smaller titles for mobile devices, a VR game, tie-in comic books, and an animated film. The continuity established by the games is often referred to as the Arkhamverse.

The first game, Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), is set on Arkham Island, which houses the eponymus Arkham Asylum, home of Batman's greatest villains. Its story centers around Batman facing his archenemy, the Joker, who has taken over Arkham and trapped Batman inside with his incarcerated foes, while threatening Gotham City with hidden bombs. Players assume the role of Batman and must defeat the escaped inmates, while also uncovering a plot orchestrated by the Joker involving a super-steroid called "Titan". The second game, Batman: Arkham City (2011), is set one year later, within the titular Arkham City, a new super-prison based in the decaying urban slums of Gotham. When Batman is incarcerated in the prison, he must uncover a sinister scheme orchestrated by Arkham City's warden, Hugo Strange, while also contending with other villains taking advantage of the prison's lawlessness, including the Joker, who is slowly dying from a disease inflicted by the unstable Titan, and forces Batman to find a cure by infecting him as well. The third main game in the series, Batman: Arkham Origins (2013), serves as a prequel set five years before Arkham Asylum, and follows a younger and less-refined Batman, who becomes the target of eight deadly assassins hired by crime lord Black Mask to kill him on Christmas Eve; he must also contend with the Gotham City police, who attempt to hunt him down, and other villains taking advantage of the chaos, including the Joker, whom Batman encounters for the first time. The fourth and final installment, Batman: Arkham Knight (2015), set nine months after Arkham City, sees Scarecrow forcing a citywide evacuation in Gotham and uniting some of Batman's greatest enemies in an attempt to destroy him once and for all, aided by the mysterious Arkham Knight; while working with his allies to defeat the villains and restore justice to Gotham, Batman must also contend with an illness caused by the late Joker, which is slowly transforming him into the Joker.

The main installments in the Batman Arkham series have been met with widespread critical acclaim, with praise for their narratives, voice acting, world design, graphics, and gameplay systems and design, along with the faithfulness to the source material.

If batman manages to be unbeatable in suicide squad kill the justice league, then no doubt that arkham batman will be the strongest batman of all time
  • I'd personally put Croc a lot higher due to him at his peak being a nearly unbeatable opponent for Asylum Batman. And I'd also put Nightwing above Azrael due to Batman one-shotting Azrael.

Constructive criticism: perhaps go a bit slower and show the characters name I was having a hard time keeping track 😅

I don't really like power scaling content but it sure is entertaining, your video is really cool dude. The only thing I completely disagree with is Killer Croc, he is one of the only villains Batman refuses to beat one on one exactly like Mr. Freeze. In Knight is a special ocasion, Nightwing is there to help and he also was probably very tired and mentally unstable from being tortured for who knows how long and then starting a riot all by himself on one of the most secure prisons in the world and hunting down what I would presume to be a lot of guards Not saying Batman couldn't beat Killer Croc but he never even tries to plan an attack on him before knight, the only thing that was even a slight threath was in City where he orders Croc to let him pass Edit: Forgot Origins but that can be explained by Croc being 10 years less experient in everything against a guy who trained to be the best, it's like putting a kid fighting a grown man

Harley at C, Clayface at B and azrael at S is a joke 💀
  • batman may be highly skilled and very smart but so is deathstroke before he got the serum he was already " HIM " I don't see how a highly skilled human like batman can go toe to toe with a highly trained soldier/assassin that is also a super soldier and has 90% of there brain unlocked.
