Blaze I’d recommend getting a mod for comments because every vid I see clowns trying to spoil stuff for you, so many main character syndromes on the internet smh

Whenever you come across one of Brok or Sindri’s shops you should stay a little while and talk to them when you get the option, you might not care too much about them right now but believe me their conversations are part of why this game is so enjoyable, especially Brok has some of the funniest dialogues in the entire game! Plus it also provides you with a lot of extra lore about the Norse world, their stories can be very interesting and informative, you will see and learn a lot about the Norse culture on this journey so the extra stories can provide a lot of context for certain things you see along the way and are also very enjoyable to listen to!

Whenever you visit Brok or Sindri's shop, talk to them whenever you can and exhaust their dialogue for more lore and funny dialogue. Some dialogue even gives more context for the story! Some combat tips: If you are low health or are fighting an annoying enemy type, just span the axe throws! It is cowardly but at least you won't have to restart everything. You can throw the axe at smaller enemies's feet to trip them. It is helpful if you're fighting a swarm of enemies and a big dude together. The executioner's cleave (hold R2 attack) has special execution animations. If you hit a low-health enemy with that attack they are executed with a cool animation. There is a counter-attack after the perfect parry (for both R1 and R2) available to be purchased from the skill tree section. It is below the bare-handed and shield combat section. There is also a projectile deflection skill available which throws the projectiles back at the sender after a perfect parry. Highly recommend buying those ASAP. Whenever comparing 2 armor pieces, keep in mind that even if the newer armor has fewer overall stats it may be better due to the effect and because your older armor has been upgraded and/or has enchantments equipped which gives stat bonuses. The skill that you said needed the 50 vitality and all that are just additional bonuses if you hit those requirements. You can still buy and use the skills (which you should definitely get next episode) without the additional bonuses (and even with the requirements they are almost worthless since you're already in the mid to late game by then). You can sell most of the lower-tier armor and artifacts that you have collected at the shops. They serve no other purpose on your journey except for bringing in the big money. Try to do as much of the side content as possible because they more often than not give a lot of resources for upgrades and other cool stuff. There is no need to rush through the story, take your time.
  • Helpful note: Dock your boat after characters stop talking, as their dialogue will be interrupted when you dock your boat. This can cause you to miss interesting dialogue.

2:22:15 is not that you require the stats to use it, is that when the stat reaches the number you gain the bonus written above.
  • @Vertiguous
When skills say they need certain stats, it's for additional effects. You can unlock any skill and use it if you have the XP for it, but if you have the right stats it can trigger bonuses for that skill.
  • More God of War! Let's GOOO!!! I HIGHLY recommend exploring a lot and doing side quests alongside the main story. Even if you don't platinum the game and collect everything, you probably still wanna do the side content. Its pretty fun and adds a lot to the story and lore. Also, you can sell stuff as well at the shops. So any artifacts and armor that you don't want/need you can just sell for hacksilver. Besides that tho, you're doing great. Just make sure you soke everything up and get good with the combat for later.👀 2:04:37 I recommend going back to that location. You left early and there was more to that spot. Its probably better if you come back though after completing what you need to complete in the Temple first. 2:22:09 When it comes to the skills, you can purchase and use them as long as you have the XP. Don't worry about the additional bonus it says at the bottom too much. That doesn't determine whether or not you can get/use the skill or not. XP is the only thing you need to get it. That's just a bonus perk basically that automatically gets added to the skill once your stats reach whatever the required level is
  • • Don't worry about the required stats under the skills in the skill tree, those are just for additional bonuses. You'll still be able to use the skills you buy • When you encounter Brok or Sindri, stay for a short while and press triangle when it prompts. They'll occasionally tell story bits or they can even give you side quests • An another thing to notice in the inventory screen the armors and gears you pick up are marked with colors ranging from green all the way to yellow. These color markings determine the quality and strength of each armor green = common gear / talisman blue = rare gear / talisman purple = legendary gear / talisman yellow = epic gear / talisman These color markings are important to pay attention since the better gear you have, the more powerful you can upgrade them • This game is open world, so don't neglect to explore everything. You may find various better gear and equipment through side quests you find during exploration
  • did you know when the world serpent speak he say " I KNOW YOU GHOST OF SPARTA " then the second line is " FIND MIMIR HE CAN HELP " you have to listen very closely to understand it . and oh btw try to do all the side quest before the main ones so get the best loot and runic attacks and enjoy this amazing game we will be enjoying watching you .

Brother, first of all, I would like to state that I follow your broadcasts with pleasure. As someone who has completed this game on all difficulty levels, my advice to you is that I think you should lower the difficulty level. Because Kratos is a god, as you know. and the gods must kill all easy enemies quickly. If you do this you will enjoy the game more. Also do all the side quests and explore uncharted places. In this way, your character becomes much stronger.
  • @MagmAlex
Once you finish the game I’d highly recommend reacting to the documentary on YouTube called “Raising Kratos”. It was made by Sony Santa Monica and chronicles the development of this game from the beginning until its release. It’s very informative and surprisingly emotional at times
  • @hunterhawk862
Back at it again with God of Boy clicked instantly when it popped up on notifications. 😊 thank you blaze ur the best dude🎉
  • @jefflafond3908
Love your gameplay your actually adventurous! That’s what I like too see keep that up more suprises coming in stock! 😉 ps remember to upgrade your equipment skills and weapons!
  • I agree for the PS4/PS5 gap, I think the biggest upgrade is the controller, and the ray tracing/ 120 fps, but compared to good PC, it's not that good
  • @salk-e8346
why are there people straight up spoiling in the comments 😭😭
  • @DaviSouza-oi8ff

  • @234cartmanrules
Advice for ragnarok, don’t 1:56:48 for example get off the boat during a convo. Or perform actions similar during sometimes you miss good stuff
  • @andrealveshjr
    R1, R1, R1, R2 is basically Sqaure, Square, Triangle.
  • @doughytown4188
In case you didn’t see our comments in the last video: The side quests are canon! (and they’re really good, so please don’t cut them out like you said)
