I’m sick. On to game 2 tho.
  • On the bright side: Celtics had every advantage you could think of:  home court in one of the NBA's greatest arenas; 5 days rest (while Pacers had played a Game 7 on the road only two days before, with travel on their off day to their road game in Boston); a large double digit lead to start the game; an obscene, Tim Donaghy-ish level of officiating, with some strange calls and a truly ridiculous disparity in free throws favoring the home team; huge games from all their stars, Tatum, Brown, and Holiday; an uncharacteristic Pacer meltdown at the end of the game; a crazy miracle 3 from one star at the end of regulation to send the game into OT; another gigantic 3 from another superstar to seal the deal in OT... ...and yet, even with all that, they just barely eked out a win in the waning minutes of overtime. To me, all of that signifies that we can actually do this, and take the Celtics down and win this series. And if we can beat them, we can beat whoever's left in the West, and win the whole thing, right now. So take heart, Pacer Nation. Still a lot of ball yet left to be played. Game 2 tomorrow night, and we have not yet begun to fight.

Proud that we can go compete with the Celtics. That said, this was a heartbreaking loss. A lot could be said, but I'll leave it at we need to take care of the ball and execute down the stretch better. Luckily, we're great at responding, so let's get a W in Game 2!

Honestly....it was game 1. We were doing our recon work. We'll be okay I think. All we need to do is win 1 away game. We can do that on thursday night.😊

If we can mentally get over this collapse this series is still very winnable. I gotta see that happen tho
  • Born ready Jones laugh can heal this pacers team. They need to hear the audio.

I agree. I don't know what to think after that I woke up this morning feeling confused definitely a bad loss

Bro facts. I feel the same. I think since there such a young inexperience team there anxiety started knowing they was about 45 seconds to beating the Celtics and go shooked
  • I think your right about Haliburton having anxiety. He sold in crunch time his handles went away. Also TJ McConnell sold instead of wrapping Tatum up he gives Tatum a soft foul. If not a hard foul let him score we had a 3 point lead.

Carlisle didn't call time out with 10 seconds to move ball half court

Im really looking forward to your thoughts some day soon on this Game one, the entire Boston series and Obi being signed and Jalen opting out. I check everyday
  • I’m not all concerned about this game … yes we lost and that hurts … but we also had 21 turnovers and were still up 3 …. I think we can win this series probably in 6 or 7.

If a choke had to happen, im just glad it was game 1. We Move, Born!

We can go back and nitpick almost every little thing that led to last night's loss, but I think it's best to just learn from what went wrong down the stretch and apply it to Game 2. We lost the last two game 1s and we knew how to adjust and bounce back. LFG 'Cers DON"T GET MAD AT THE FAXXXX
