It’s good to know that even in Little League, there is Major League umpiring
  • I'm glad you covered this. My local paper legit said this was Angel Hernandez umping lol.

Ump prepping both teams before the game: "Anything within 2 feet of the plate is a strike, so you best be swinging those bats. Alright? Good talk."
  • @ohger1
NO ONE IS GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE PACE of these games??? What a pleasure to watch. They kept the kids in the batter's box instead of letting them take their regular 15' foot stroll where they would stop and show the camera their slow motion major league swings. Typical pitch delivery between 8 and 10 seconds. If the majors did this, I might still be a fan.

And in the crowd somewhere, Angel Hernandez turns to the person next to him, points to the ump and says "that's my son out there".

These kids poured Gatorade on themselves. They are freaking legends.

I remember playing Little League, being at bat when the pitcher bounced the ball 6 feet in front of the plate, which then hit the catchers mitt right over the plate. Ump called strike. I lost it.

I LOVED this period of my life...What I wouldnt give to be young again playing baseball with all my friends!!

The Gatorade dump on themselves was the purest most wholesome celebration in sports history. Way to go boys 🥳
  • Number 11 that kid on the team where you're just like "that's cody, he's got his shit together." lmao
  • @ColinBrain
"Let's do it, boys- let's pour this on ourselves" made me laugh
  • This kid is hilarious though. Just how expressive he is. It's like this is his first bad call and he didn't realise this was a thing that happened
  • When I coached all I asked the ump was to be consistent with both teams. The biggest thing I noticed with many umps especially in the younger leagues, was they would rob pitchers of strikes because the were smoking the other team. Umps deciding games will just turn kids and coaches away.

"Boom. Out. Great call." 🤣 its your subtle humor that I enjoy the most. 2:46

The “wall of balls” should be used in all baseball broadcasts from now on
  • @gabestew262
If you think the kids were pissed about bullshit calls, imagine the parents. Mine would probably be screaming and booing if i was up to plate, lol. Great video :)
  • @JackMott
Imagine a MLB pitchers like Maddox realizing the ump is giving him that as a strike...lol... 85mph right there all day
