A huge bonus (for me at least) is that Epochal has Harmonic Resonance as its Origin Perk, being the only Energy primary ammo weapon with it. This means you get to synergise Conditional Finality (easily my top exotic at the moment, plus has Harmonic Resonance as a hidden perk) and Briar’s Contempt in my heavy slot. HR x 2 give fantastic bonuses to reload, handling and ready speed, as well as (I believe) an extra 10% bonus damage to Lucent Hive and Tormentors. Works fantastic for all of my solar hunter builds currently!

When Dragon's Breath was first announced, it sounded pretty mediocre on paper. But once I got it in my hands I fell in love with it, it's SO good. The only downside is that I can't use Sunshot at the same time, and I've been using that in all my solar loadouts since last season. I suspect that's why Epochal Integration has become more popular, it's a decent substitute if you don't have Zaoli's Bane. Although I've actually seen a lot of people using Epochal Integration in PVP, which is kind of odd. Maybe it feels really good in PVP? I dunno, I mainly use Austringer.

I've gotten a bunch of Crux Terminations from Legendary Lost Sectors. Also, I love the Avalanche, but I swear I run out of ammo for it way more often than Unwavering Duty (or really any other MGs), even with the same scav, finder, and reserve mods.

My top PVE exotics are Sunshot, Polaris Lance, Malfeasance, Quicksilver Storm, and Osteo Striga. I rarely run exotic heavy weapons as I have every updated Last Wish weapon crafted, so Reconstruction/Bait and Switch Apex Predator pretty much is my number 1 heavy go to, or a Killing Tally or Target Lock LMG, or Incandescent LMG depending on what I’m using my heavy for. I use Zaouli’s Bane, Drang, Tyranny of Heaven, or Ammit over Calus Mini Tool for an incandescent rolled energy weapon if I’m running Osteo or Malfeasance. Those are for my Solar builds, I have quite a few other weapons for other builds, like a Voltshot/Frenzy Posterity for my arc Hunter build…

its worth mentioning that epochal integration has nanotech tracer rockets which with perk specialization on the artifact is about the same buff as explosive payload. no aoe though.

Returning player so i dont have alot of the meta items....but thankfully got lucky with a crux with bipod / reconstruction. Great boss weapon!

If youre having trouble getting crux or any world drop, take it from someone who has 15+ each of crux / marcado god rolls. Marcado with demo / onslaught or adagio is great. They have small perk pools so its easy to get god rolls if you can get them to drop. Ive been using clown cartridge / explosive light crux on bosses and using bipod / reconstructing on master lost sectors champs with crux all day. And thats how i get more. When you do a master lost sector which takes about 3 to 3.5 minutes you not only get a guaranteed world loot weapon but you get an almost always guaranteed additional world drop loot on top of it from the chest loot on top of 1 or more random engram drops during the run. Just spam master lost sectors and youll have plenty of crux / marcado god rolls. Ive gotten 2-3 per run sometimes.

For this nightfall on moon my set up is sunshot, pardon of dust/disorienting nades. And avalanche with rewind rounds/incandescent. Paired with artifact and certain build I generate 80ish orbs of light. Around 150-240 kills. And no deaths most the time. Every run

calus mini tool was the first weapon i crafted from its season and ive used it ever since and playing on solar hunter i loooove grave robber in the first column never need to reload and make loads of ignitions

Amazing that Vex Mythoclast is not on this list as it shreds everything when coupled with Rain of Fire and the artifact mods.

Vex Mythoclast is very good too!!! With the warlcok boots that makes you radiant u constantly keep the buff active!

Against non taken enemies Warden's Law does the most damage with Lucky Pants. Crux Termination is a beast! I got 2 of them both dropped with reconstruction and 1 dropped with tracking and the other with bipod! I shouted with joy when I got both of them. They both have never left my loadout since! I use either/or depending on the activity! It's soo good!
