Arizona boy, 2, dies after strong winds blow away bounce house

I have a friend who has a bounce house inside her house where she runs a daycare. A 2 yo is pretty young to be left alone in these things. Wake up people.

Wow, this really sucks. But why does a friend of the family need to raise 100k?

Why would you put a 2yr old in a bounce house, when they are strong winds?

As a fireman, he should have known the risks with high winds in the area.

This has been a KNOWN ISSUE FOR YEARS!!! NEVER should have happened! DANG!

This is horrifying! My daughter was about 4 years old playing on a bounce house when a gust of wind flipped it over a fence that was topped with razor wire (the bounce house was set up on the grounds of a national guard armory). She ended up hanging 6 feet off the ground in the wire and had to have stitches in her arm. Another little girl got slung to the ground and bloodied up her face. Luckily no one else was hurt. Those things are dangerous when not anchored down.

I see people are blaming the bound house company for this but with the father being a firefighter he should have known to get the kids out the house when the wind started picking up, wind gust always start small and then pick up so the adults out there should have stopped the kids from getting in until they knew the wind had died down and to the people saying it wasn't staked to the ground if the wind is blowing hard enough those stakes wouldn't be able to do anything. The wind might be invisible but its one of the strongest things the earth can produce.

Wow. Poor little dude...And his poor family.

One of my nieces friends when they were about 9 or 10 was in a bounce house that went airborn right into electrical wires, she was killed as she was inside it at the time.

I cannot imagine such a great loss. That poor family! We were in one that deflated years ago and it was terrifying. That child was beautiful.

The company that set these bounce house up didnt stake it down ? They know there are high winds

They really need to ban those bounce houses! Especially Az has lots of strong winds in open land. Someone needs to begin a petition. It's very tragic. My heart, prayers & condolences to the family. Praying for the 2nd child. 📿🙏🏽✝️
