    This is actually the persian pronunciation of soren. Sorena/surena was one of the bravest persian generals.

    For 50 years I've always pronounced my name soh-run but always knew it was sore-n just sounds weird to me.

    Wrong😂!! Søren is a Danish name and My name is Søren. It’s almost not possible to pronounce correctly for other than Scandinavians.

    That is absolutely not true man, it's my name and NOT how you say it hahah
  • That is not how it is pronounced in Norwegian, you get the pronunciation of 'ø' wrong, the sound is more like the first part how you pronounce 'o' in 'book', but with the tongue more relaxed than when you do 'oo'. Have to say, so far, in none of the videos with Norwegian words have you been accurate, I recommend you do not try to come across as knowing how to pronounce Norwegian, as you clearly have problems with at least 2 of the letters we use, namely 'æ' and 'ø'. You also have a tendency to mispronounce vowels, and in many cases you stress the wrong part of the words. People trying to emulate your pronunciations will be understood, to a certain extent, but will mark themselves as having sub-par pronunciation, aka bad teachers.
