Thanks, Andrew! ⏳ I love Jonathan Groff! I first got to know him in GLEE (2010 through 2015). Be sure to catch him as the scene-stealing 'King George' in HAMILTON (2020)... and if you're ever in the mood for a mystery/thriller/horror he knocked my socks off in KNOCK AT THE CABIN (2023).

Captain Jack was a time agent turned con artist. I wouldn't put it past him to take a bounty hunter job if it was offered though. Timelords are technically shapeshifters. It's just that most of them can only do it twelve times. Regarding the two aliens acting like a human couple in private, I think that was just them playing, pretending to be over dramatic humans for fun. I don't think they knew Ruby were there. I think that's just part of how they play their game.

16:40 to the Chuldur, humans clearly aren't meaningful or valuable. Amusing and cosmetically useful, but it doesn't matter if they live or die. Humans have a very similar hostory with... well, basically every other lifeform we've ever encountered.
