Thank you Zhaawnong. I am now writing up a personal land acknowledgement to my hometown in China as a part of my dissertation defence. Your video inspired me. My question is: if I come from that hometown/land but I spent my recent ten years here in Canada, how do I address my acknowledgement (even I am away for ten years) and how to make connections between my current status and my hometown land.
