Just over 400 million out of 1.3 billion is crazy
-
I hope he wins his battle

I’m a childhood cancer survivor & I’m so happy the winner was someone who will use it for something other than mansions and expensive cars. Cancer is expensive & childhood cancer comes with lifelong health expenses. I hope I win the lotto one day too.🤞🏻

This is supposed to be a feel good story but it’s actually quite depressing. He literally had to hit the lottery jackpot in order to get relief from his medical debt. What a country we live in.
-
hospital will send him some imaginary bills ! And take advantage of that as always!
-
Wish you good health, power ball winner!👍🏼🌟
-
The fact that this is even a headline is depressing. Cancer killed my mom because we hit a dead end with treatments and money… because our government would rather send of billions of dollars of OUR tax money for proxy wars rather than help its citizens.

Nice! Finally not a selfish winner!
-
once this man got money, he put his family first then his health. Sigma man 🎉
-
seems he deserves and needed it congratulations

This is a dystopian situation

1.3 billion. 423 mil after taxes.
-
SO HAPPY for him!!!🙏🏼🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
-
It's the doctors, pharmacies and government who ended up winning most of the money. But I am glad he will afford good treatment🙏❤️ I hope he recovers completely👍 and all the pharmaceutical companies support his treatment for research, too.

Gov is too greedy with lottery taxes. They should only get 1%
-
God blessed him, when he really needs help.
-
Good for him i hope this helps him to find an amazing doctor which enables him to live much longer and enjoy his family and freedom of all the stresses debt and being strapped for money brings on bless him
-
He seems like a humble, genuine Man. I hope all goes well for him and that he makes a full recovery. There's some cancer research going on in Oregon coincidentally. The medical group I'm thinking of has successfully dealt with Pancreatic Cancer through T Cell modification.

The moral of the story: time is more valuable than money. 😢 I pray this brother gets well and for anyone else going through health issues.

So a guy from Laos can get disability, when I have a family member who lost everything and had passed away from being denied it. This is why the U.S. is collapsing.
