Wow! All the times I've been canoeing and kayaking northern whitewater rivers in spring, I always see the ice reefs high on the banks and wonder cataclysmic event put them there. Your video shows that that the flood is a relatively short but intense event. Great catch! Thanks for sharing.

I was watching the namadji in superior the same day. Amazing how the water level can rise, break up the ice and move it all out in one day.

People need to be forever vigilant because Mother Nature will not be excused, see how quickly that water rose. Must say very good capturing of this torrent though.
