  • Wow! All the times I've been canoeing and kayaking northern whitewater rivers in spring, I always see the ice reefs high on the banks and wonder cataclysmic event put them there. Your video shows that that the flood is a relatively short but intense event. Great catch! Thanks for sharing.

    I was watching the namadji in superior the same day. Amazing how the water level can rise, break up the ice and move it all out in one day.

  • People need to be forever vigilant because Mother Nature will not be excused, see how quickly that water rose. Must say very good capturing of this torrent though.
