Twenty years ago we sang this song in Trieste, Italy, in a choir that included people from Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Czechia and Poland. Many of us had tears in their eyes as it was so moving. Two of the people are now married, too.

I'm from Slovakia living in Prague, and now in my 20s I came to conclusion that Europe is the best place where I want to spent rest of my life and I'm really glad I was born here. Even though in poorer part, doesn't matter. I hope we can weather through the crisis that are ahead together and make stronger and better Europe for more people.
