something i love about final fantasy is every single product, even fun spinoffs like chocobo racing or the animes, has so much soul put into their OST. i was vibing to the string chords in pictlogica

I feel like the reception for XII might have been a bit... different... if it had been marketed as 'Final Fantasy XXX' (especially considering Fran's outfit).

It's funny that many number of the mainline is somehow really coherent with the index of the game like VI being IX VII being X Tactics being XI

Final Fantasy Dimensions is a good mobile game, a honest classic jrpg, without the gacha stuff. It should have a console/computer port.

A) IMO Seiken Densetsu shouldn't count, particularly if you're not counting its entire series. All else is valid. B) Could you imagine how much more confusing it would make Final Fantasy to talk about? It's difficult enough to explain to newcomers as it is!

I hadn't realised that there was so many chocobo games for the PlayStation early on. Though, I distinctly remember playing a demo of a tower defence game on the PSP that used the Tactics Advanced-style of character sprites.

Great video! Only thing I thought was missing was maybe somewhere the original title, because I found myself very unaware of about half of those spinoffs!
