Bishkek Manas International Airport is Kyrgyzstan's largest airport and is home base for Airlines Avia Traffic and more interestingly Tez Jet, which operate MD80s and RJ85s for passenger use, something that is becoming a rarity in the world. The video is filmed airside which offers a tremendous view of all the operations and the hospitality of security to allow us to do this (with an escort of course) was phenominal.
The airport is not the most busy place in the world, however, the variety of unique and different airlines that we were able to catch more then made up for it. There's a number of firsts for me including Aero Nomad, Avia Traffic, & Tez Jet!

TBH - we've seen municipal airports 'fancier' than this one; but a 'small' airport/airfield like this is probably a much less-stressful experience that the huge hubs. Cool lighting in this episode. Even a 747.
