  • the fact that this album bombed critically when it came out and is now considered a modern classic is proof of how ahead of the trends lana has always been.

Born to Die is the Holy Bible, and we have no choice but to worship.
  • The way he keeps on referencing a lot of these new girls sounding or giving lana lyrically, just shows lana's influence on today's music.
  • NOT YOU SAYING THE TAYLOR SWIFT'S IMAGERY WHEN SHE literally TOOK MAINLY INSPIRATION FROM LANA

This album IS the most influential pop album of the 2010s and you can hear traces of it in every single pop girl album

  • Lana del Rey is a religious name in my household, I introduced her to my mother and gave her access to my YouTube and now Lana has become the constant soundtrack to our life.

Born to die is an album that is never gonna die for sure. And itā€™s a proof that Lana is so ahead of the trends and makes classic music still trendy
  • lana mentioned that each of her albums is like her current view or relationship with america and i think that makes a lot of senseā€¦like all of her albums just feel very american but in different ways
  • this made me understand and appreciate this album SO MUCH MORE!!! idk why but i never fully fathomed it up until this point. Thank you troy

  • I think I was 9 (almost 10) when I first heard Off to the Races because my dad was a fan since weā€™re from Scotland and her bf at the time was from Glasgow. My mum heard him listening to it one night through his headphones and she liked it so much she bought the song on iTunes. I heard her listening to it and that was me hooked. I heard a few more songs after that but it wasnā€™t till I got Apple Music at 14/15 that I could fully appreciate the album. Itā€™s been 12 years since I fell in love with her music and Iā€™m still very much in love with this particular album. She is incredible and I will always favour this album over many thingsā¤
