I didn't think it would be that great until i bought one and now I find myself looking for reasons to blend everything.

I share your enthusiasm for the Vitamix 5200. I have one and IMHO they are (for me ) well worth the price. I have been telling others about the merits of this wonderful blender - they probably believe I'm an undercover sales rep. 😀 I have a 7 year warranty with my model, but for an additional $75.00, I could have purchased a 3 year warranty extension.
