More about the Splintered Sea:

Dive into The Splintered Sea expansion, introducing water to Besiege for more machine-building conquests! Battle your way through a 10-level oceanic campaign, explore an all new sandbox, and harness 8 new blocks to unleash chaos on the high seas!

Following your relentless campaign from Ipsilon to Krolmar, take to the Splintered Sea, where people known as “The Offlanders” occupy a series of islands. Annihilate Admiral Drasckar’s fleet of cutters and go toe-to-toe with his prized galleon. Slip beneath the waves, evading the Offlander’s traps and fending off creatures of the deep. Obliterate Drasckar’s fortress and unleash his horrifying nemesis!

The Splintered Sea brings a suite of new ocean themed blocks and limitless new possibilities!
In addition to the cutting edge technology of “Curved Wooden Blocks”, you’ll have access to:

Floats that aid with buoyancy & submersion
A Rudder for improved steering
A Ship Screw, for in-water propulsion
A Retractable Sail for harnessing the wind
A Harpoon Launcher for snagging your enemies
A Paddle for.. paddling

Everything you can do in Besiege, you can now do in water as well!

Besiege’s water employs elements of hydrodynamics to produce shape dependent drag, density based buoyancy and higher speed impacts. This means that the shape and density of your machines will affect how they move through water, giving an immersive feel to aquatic machine building and control.

On the ocean surface you’ll be buffeted about by waves and beneath you’ll encounter hazards, curiosities & nasty creatures.

The Splintered Sea expansion comes with its own sandbox for you to explore. Sail through a rugged archipelago, challenge a mighty galleon and terrorize local fishermen. Drop beneath the waves and explore the ancient ruins, or put your machine to the test on the water course.

Besiege’s water is also available in Multiplayer & the level editor, with all new objects for building your own unique environments and messing about with your friends!

Besiege Gameplay Overview:

Besiege is a physics based building game in which you construct medieval siege engines and lay waste to immense fortresses and peaceful hamlets.

Build a machine which can crush windmills, wipe out battalions of brave soldiers and transport valuable resources, defending your creation against cannons, archers and whatever else the desperate enemies have at their disposal.

Create a trundling behemoth, or take clumsily to the skies, and cause carnage in fully destructible environments!

Ultimately, you must conquer every Kingdom by crippling their castles and killing their men and livestock, in as creative or clinical a manner as possible.

Besiege Multiverse Overview:

Besiege Multiverse is a new game mode to Besiege that adds Multiplayer! In multiplayer Besiege, you will be able to build and play with up to 8 total players. Besiege Multiverse will also add the ability to create custom levels and utilize different game modes to play with your friends. Of course these levels will be shareable on the Steam Workshop!

Wellcome back Besiege , you old man , you are back in game.
  • Hey there, glad to see you playing, ScrapShip and your fish were super cool! At 15:20 you experienced a bug with underwater explosions we had in the pre-release build, rejoice or dread, it has been fixed in the full release tomorrow! 22:35 Building surfaces are more advanced for sure. You can do triangles by clicking your start point with the last placement instead of placing it in a new location, also you can curve the shapes by using the move tool and selecting the edges.

  • @W0B0N

Complete the series. Loved it. Use the bouyancy controls to control the bouyancy without ballast.
  • Make two sail masts. Put each sail mast on a swivel. And then use the ropes to rotate the sails left and right with < > arrow keys. Make sure the ropes that rotate the front sail and back sail have reverse directions attached to arow keys. This will give you intuitive and simple steering. Up arror to lower the sail, donw arrow to rectact.
