I love seeds. I've been greenhouse growing here mauka Hawaii for about 5 yrs and I love the whole cycle, and just knowing that I did this from scratch is very satisfying to me.

Never tried out clones , I’ve just always popped seeds . I like the wait and anticipation of the seeds popping out of the soil . It’s like a newborn baby . πŸ˜€

I need a middle ground, sustainability and room to explore all at the same time lol.

I'm still new. So, at the moment. Seeds are better. Only because I grew it from nothing. Kinda proud of myself I finally got 2 sets of true leaves (on my 2nd attempt)
  • Im a seed guy normally although Im getting better with making my own clones. Also keep my grow space 4.0 cleanliness wise and worry about bringing others peoples bugs into my grow. Thanks Scottie!

I am totally a seed person. I love phenohunting. Finding something that works for you is special.
  • Seed is the only way to go for me! Until I run across some awesome genetics then it's clone time!
  • I'm working on middle ground, but very hard with plant count! Seeds and clones! Love the science of cloning, but I also want to make and pop seeds all day!

With seed you always have the chance of finding something new and special. That being said clones all the way. You get to know your plants and you really get to max them out. I do seeds outdoor and then select cuts for my indoor. You gotta hold cuts and preserve genetics!

I started a black magic clone with just peat moss and root hormone in three weeks I took it out the solo cup and the roots were crazy

I do both. Mostly seeds at the moment because I can now legaly order them in Germany. And it's a lot of fun to have so many different strains. Recently did some clones yust for fun. Would love to exchange some clones with other growers but that's not allowed. Maybe someday. Good videos btw!
  • Due to financial constraints, I am not able to afford any good genetics, so I have been popping seeds and hoping for the best. I was able to afford 1 clone from the seedbank. I plan to vegetate the clone and take clones from her. Someday I hope to get a hold of a really good cut.

Seeds only in my tents. No bugs. No HLV. No quarantining. Unfortunately, no continuing phenomes but I like trying different genetics every cycle anyway. Maybe if Scotty could hook me up with a Cherry Paloma or an Emergen C cut...I'd be tempted lol.

Personally in my opinion both are fun. I love seeds and then clones from those seeds for a while, and it is always fun to have some Auto flowers going along side of everything.

Seed mother plants make better clones then cloned mother plants lol Or seeds bigger production then clone plants flowering to most of the time. Clones are faster and you have a fresh genome in a seed. Seeds are cool for seed banks for a later day too. Another thing with a clone mother plant after 7th generation it sort drops off or certain traits compared to the first generation. I choose both clones and seeds both has their purpose in the grow.
