Estonia is preparing for conflict with Russia, because if Putin wins in Ukraine, they could be next.

Every school student in the country is learning about defence and every man aged between 18 and 29 is conscripted to serve for up to a year in the military.

Estonia is urging Nato to do more - because Russia's standing army is bigger than the country’s entire population, and war could be coming.

I love to see this from Estonia. But Ukraine is not NATO. Completely different!
  • ⚡ Эстонская разведка сообщает, что Князь Руси, Олег, готовит поход на Константинополь.

Good luck to Estonia. It’s sad that the young people of Estonia have to feel afraid for their countries future and train for potential conflict, but it’s also good to see that they’re willing to step up and learn the skills that they may unfortunately need.
  • Wow Young people learn to protect their land! Amazing Estonians! be proud!
  • Good for them. They are learning valuable life skills and history. Things we could all use.

Great stuff Estonia, if something happens ill be there! Love our brothers from Finland<3
  • I spent 4 wonderful days in Tallinn just 3 weeks ago....Lovely city,lovely people (apart from 1 greedy taxi driver)....Go Estonia Go!👍🇪🇪🇮🇪🍻
  • If your next door neighbour had their house broken into and taken over by strangers who declare it to be theirs, you would probably get some more security in your own home; just in case. Nobody wants this, it’s not something the Ukrainians or Estonians chose for their country. Everyone wants peace in the region except for the aggressor, Russia.
  • Recently discovered your channel... thanks for your detailed videos... not sure if you already did a video on this because theres so many videos still need to explore on youtube but if you are wondering what to do for future videos... I would love to see videos about CERN which is the major scientific organization in Switzerland... I first learned about CERN from reading one of Dan Brown's novels... and while Dan Browns books are fiction-ish.... CERN is a very real and mysterious scientific organization. 🎉
  • Realism reigns in Estonia. Keep up your preparation and you'll be ready for whatever comes your way! Really impressed with the dedication and seriousness of the students.🇪🇪
  • How about the neighbouring Latvia and Lithuania are they also preparing something like this

Polish government had arms to fight Germans. So was French government. So was British and Soviet government. They also had land and people on contrary to the dot on the map - Estonia. The best defence strategy for Estonia - prevent they government from making stupid statements and pretend like they capable of something.

Latvia has a similar program for high school students. National Defence is a compulsory subject in schools. Eight lessons a month, for a total of 122 lessons over two consecutive years. I think it's a brilliant idea as it will result in an adult civilian population who have above average knowledge about what to do in the event of an invasion by the Muscovite madman.
  • It's cool that so many people of the next generation are multilingual
  • "Weakness is provoking the aggressor." Exactly that is and nobody all over Europe should ever forget this. Nothing can be ruled out except RU being a good and peaceful neighbor.
  • Estonia. Another country ruled by a Monarchy the Monarchies. Ruled at various times during the middle ages by Denmark, the German knights of the Livonian Order, and Sweden, Estonia ended up part of the Russian Empire in the 18th Century. It experienced its first period of independence in 1918, following the end of World War One and the collapse of the Russian Empire. Look at the Middle East. Ruled by religion and the Monarchy.
  • I wonder - is this what Putin envisioned happening when he decided on the SMO? Did he expect anything other than more NATO around Russia and other countries preparing to defend themselves from Russia?
