Jez, you say you didn’t expect Cyberpunk to have sandbox aspects but remember the very things you said you weren’t expecting were advertised by CDPR before the games launch, that’s why we were expecting those features and were disappointed to find that the game didn’t have any of it. From in depth wanted systems, to car customisation, to multiple apartments and the biggest issue in my opinion, extensive choices and consequences which the Witcher also featured. All this was expected because they told us it would be there and the disappointment on top of the game being fundamentally broken at launch completely justified our reactions.

If Bethesda just added transition animation for when they need to load assets/areas, like entering big buildings in the cities, train transits or Space travel from planet to planet(galaxy to galaxy) instead having to go on menu to do it, the game already requires an SSD, a lot less people would complain about the game, and some people wouldn't even notice.
