Well, the hacker can control your PC using a Discord server.

Discord scams are rampant on the platform. Whether it be someone asking you to download their beta game, sending you game cheats, or discord nitro generators, you will have a malicious file hit your DMs. And when you open up that Malware, what information are you really giving to the scammer.

  • Note: Please do not attempt to use the malware shown in this video. Due to the popularity of the video, the behaviour of the malware most likely changed to put your own PC at risk. If you do end up downloading some sketchy exe file, I would completely reinstall your OS. After you do that, change all your passwords. Also stop asking what malware it is and how to set it up. You should never send malware to anyone, even if it is to "troll your friends".

I love how these videos are actually genuinely useful to look out for scams and malware, meanwhile NTTS uses websites like Neopets, Roblox, Habbo hotel probably
  • @MuffinDesu
This channel just made a 180-degree turn from Discord tutorials to frankly well-documented videos about how to prevent malware and knowledge about Cybersecurity, and I love it
  • In a really twisted way, it's honestly kinda impressive how thorough and deep-rooted these programs are. I'm reminded of some of those books Kevin Mitnick wrote.
  • @acesmetanoia
This video actually informs us better than any of Discord's official statements or attempts for the users-
  • @AquaQuokka
You've got to admit, these malware devs put a lot of effort into this. If only their dads put as much effort into raising them.
  • @stedmangg
I don't even use discord and I love your videos. Everything from malware and technical jargon, to references to KingCobra and TPB, you hit every niche for me.

I feel like some of these things could be used to assist other types of scams too. For example, if they get the right bit of audio from the voice call (someone screaming or someone crying) then they could use it for the scam where they call someone and pretend their loved ones are kidnapped or in jail and demand money.
  • @Regufyz
Thank god that common sense of not clicking random links / files helps
  • @PixelGamerz9
Hey I gotta say your channel is really good and I've been watching for awhile for all news on discord, thanks for all your great work to the community and I be continuing to watch every video you post. Keep up the good work!!!
  • @warningPL
No jokes, you're the best youtuber that shows scams and shows an example for how does it work
  • @Cobgd
I fell for this a month back, had to fully factory reset my computer. This scan is creepy, hoping no one falls for this ❤😭
  • @Foobin_Lera
They really just gotta get you with the right thing. I was in a server with a member who openly deved little indie games. Got a random DM saying something like "Hey, would you mind testing a game for me? I finished this project and want feedback on it" Nothing sketchy about this. Just someone who openly does lil passion projects wanting feedback on their latest work. I clicked the link and it downloaded something called Pine Island. Instantly got logged out of discord and the discord login popped up. I deleted the file before logging back in, but that was a scare. This happened ages ago, but damn is it still in my head
  • @2antoine216
hey thank you so much for the task manager trick at the beginning of the video, you gave me the opportunity to remove the malaware i downloaded a while ago. if you right click seeing the file you suspect being the malaware you can find the file where it's in
  • This is by far my favorite and helpful video thanks a lot No Text To Speech :D
  • @Sinnohy
    this is absolutely terrifying
  • @lightning_11
If you run a program on your computer, that's basically the same as saying "You now have complete permission to upload everything I have done, am doing, and will ever do on this computer to anyone you want without informing me or asking for my permission"... So in other words, make sure you trust your programs!!

I remember a bazillion years ago when the first remote access trojans (like this one) became available through sketchy forums back in the day. Not only will it steal whatever info it can, they normally also add you to a botnet of computers where they use the combined computer powers to mine crypto, use your network to ddos people, and otherwise perform other illegal activity through your computer.
