I've been driving Tesla for 6 months, and finally I got Full Self-Driving Beta. We paid $10,000 for this feature. Let's test Tesla's full autopilot together!

In 20-30 years this probably will be totally normal thing and much safer

The rest of the world calls it public transport

Why do I get the feeling it'll be more exhausting to babysit the car while it's driving rather than driving it yourself
  • @The_Lovre
You live in a good organised area. If you tryed that in my street you would most likely crash
  • @leomega
The anxiety is not worth the benefit of not driving
  • @nemanjaras
Yeah..would love to see someone trying it in Naples, Mumbai or Cairo 😁

Hey, please be careful how you “promote” this feature. You HAVE TO have your hands on the wheel all the time, it’s in one of the disclaimers you agree on when turning this feature on. I have it too (waited more than 6 months, but only paid $5k in 2019. A lot of its capabilities amaze me, but make no mistake on believing it’s “self driving.” I believe it’s far more intelligent than anything out there, but complacency can lead to potential accidents, even fatal ones. We have one narrow street that was even made narrower by a pile of leaves on both sides of the road. Our Model X on FSD and NOA folded its mirrors to get through the street - I was blown away! But it also encountered turns where FSD just turned off and gave the controls back to the driver. So please don’t hype it to your followers that you can just sit and touch the wheel once in a while. Promoting this behavior can lead to potentially fatal accidents and halt further development of what can become a level 5, autonomous driving.

Its still in beta mode, meaning working in progress. Better have those hands on the wheel to take over in case something happens 🤦‍♂️
  • Nice video! That’s sure not for me ! I don’t even trust my toaster to make a nice toasty bread let alone trust a car to drive me across town 😅 But I guess most think that’s pretty great ? Cheers everyone from Vancouver Canada ✌️

In india it will not only ask you to put on seat belt but also check its own insurance before self driving.
  • $10,000 is a lot for that update though. I’d rather just drive myself I actually enjoy driving and I’m good at it. But to each their own

It is great as long as you know it's limitations. I have a 2022 Model Y. I usually use mine more when less cars are around so they don't get too annoyed when it does something too slow. It is great too see how far it has come. Especially on the highways it's basically flawless. Puts a smile and eases lots of any stress for long drives. The price tag is worth it. Because once the feature becomes fully fully autonomous then it's worth even more than 100K. Can't wait to see what it can do in 2025, 2027 and then 2030. Craziness.

A split second before you hit anything the self-driving will disconnect so Tesla can not be sued for any damage or fatality…
  • What if it detects a ghost and randomly stops in the middle of the road 😭💀

*Rich people are living in the future. The rest of us are driving cars that are 10+ years old or taking public transportation

I remember my teacher was teaching us about cars when I was in the younger grade and we were talking about driving tests he said “when you are all older and old enough to drive a car there will be cars that will drive themselves” idk why but that stuck in my head and he has proven himself right because I still can’t drive a car however cars can drive themselves
